Ann was born June 3, 1942, in Indianapolis, to Waldo and Geneta Honn. She grew up on the family farm in Isabel and ended up in Champaign after living in Oak Park for several years.
She married Harprit Sandhu on February 14, 2002, whom she had known since 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, and daughter-in-law.
Ann is survived by her children, Mitch Marlow (Bari Rothbaum) and Alison Campbell of Champaign; granddaughter Caroline; and sisters, Mary Jane LeGrand of Ashton, Melinda Honn of Arizona, Marsha Honn of Arizona and brother Gene (Diane) Honn of Champaign along with many special relatives.
She loved spending time with her granddaughter and instilling in her a love of books.

She was a master gardener, loved reading, lunches with friends, and spending time with family (especially brunches on Sunday). She enjoyed time in her garden and knew almost every plant and tree native to these parts. She was a member of the spinners guild and enjoyed working with yarn and her sewing machine. She was well traveled and visited many countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Croatia, Germany, the UK, France and India to name a few. Her favorite US places were Saugatuck, MI and Rocky Mountain National Park in CO.
Ann was active in the community and made friends everywhere she went. Her loss will be felt by many.
