To the family of Olive Foster,
I want to offer my sympathy to you. I worked with Olive at Burnham Hospital when I first got out of nursing school in the 1970’s. We worked 3-11 on the orthopedic floor. Olive was so patient with all of the new nurses. She was always calm and gave good advice. She had such a good sense of humor. I really enjoyed working with her. The last time I talked to her was shortly after she lost her leg. Even then she had a positive attitude. She was very proud of her family and talked frequently about her son and granddaughters. My sympathy to you on your loss.
