Hi David,

My name is Scott Sims and I pastor the Salisbury Church in Charleston, IL.  It was my pleasure to know Alice for the last several years as she began attending church here at Salisbury.  What a delight!  Her love for Jesus and other people were so very obvious. Almost every time I saw her at Jackson Ave Coffee, which was a favorite of hers, she would have a story to share. Something new the Lord had shown her in the Word or some interaction with someone. Occasionally she would be frustrated with a neighbor but that usually didn't last too long. We were blessed to have her join us for some of our family holiday gatherings. She was always a gracious guest. Another fond memory was celebrating her birthday as my mother and grandmother would make arrangements to take her out to eat.

Your sister was loved here at Salisbury and will certainly be missed!
